It all starts with the first drink, A social gathering having a sip or a taste which turn out to every weekend thing to every night and then addiction. But, there is no social drinking for an addict, it's either self-control, or they worsen the case of not living without it. The Pandemic has been harsh for us all but worsens for a recovering addict, who was taught to live in closed doors, with no social contacts, it does take a toll on the mental health of an addict.
We thought of pandemic as a global outreach of a virus, where the minute part of drug addiction was left behind. We started recovering from three waves of the virus, but drug de-addiction and its treatment faced a downfall.

The life of a recovering addict is not easy as it sounds, nor it is as normal as a human being. You think of every day moving on to something good and new, also distracting your mind to let go of that one day without any use of alcohol or drugs.
